I’m just a regular sort of girl, though blessed with an abundant life and am most grateful!

Organization/Disorganization is my battlefield, as I can be the best at both!
I ABHOR conflict of any kind so I pretty much avoid writing heated post.  Nothing too deep here! (probably also why I’m uncomfortable with awards, buttons and bling) More than likely some deep seeded insecurity hiding beneath, well that and the fact that I battle a bit with symmetry and color. (insert OCD here)

There are actually many reasons why I shy away from blog awards, but that would be a whole blog post in itself…probably one I would never approach! (see above) *g*  But who knows,  maybe someday I’ll actually grow a spine!

A bit about me personally…

I’m a 52 year old wife and mother to 5 children, oldest being 35, youngest nearly 6. (yes, that means I had him at the age of 46, are you laughing yet?)  This little escapade is also where the name of my blog comes from.  I think I had an empty nest for all of about 9 months and found it didn’t suit me at all, hence re-fluffing my nest! :)

I also have 3 step sons, all grown with wives and children ! So…that’s my life.  I’m hoping to blog my adventures of decorating, re decorating, all sorts of things “off-white”, gardening, cooking, mothering, grand mothering ( that’s still a little weird to say) and anything  that makes me smile or frown….:)

My husband of 8 years, keeps the utility lines clear of wayward tree branches for the local utility company, and me, I trade and invest in the stock market to make my way in the world. I spend some of most days in the forums and chat rooms at a  Stock Investment website,  (you’ll find me under the “about us” page)  that is largely male populated, and have learned a whole new side to the male species that I was previously unaware of. (ie:”women are truly mentally strong beings, but I bet you knew that already….lol )

I love sharing my days with Jack and taking in the wonder he seems to see in everything around him.

I have a strong belief in the natural laws of the Universe.  What you think about, you bring about….Call it what you will, “The Secret” or the “Laws of Attraction” but I believe they are laws of nature, no different than gravity.  I read Mike Dooley “Notes from the Universe”, all of the Jane Roberts “Seth” books and Esther Hicks (Abraham).  I try very hard to keep negative “anything” out of my daily life and stay on an even keel….going with the flow.  One of my favorite books for inspiration is “The Prophet” written by Kahlil Gibran.  I find it profound, especially the passages on children and marriage.

I’m blogging for fun and so I have an outlet for my very talkative self… so I don’t talk my poor family crazy!  I love comments and bloggers that comment back, so feel free to strike up a conversation!  I think comment areas are great for carrying on conversations, asking questions or just comparing notes between internet  friends.
